Katie’s Allsorts Trio is Katie Patterson on drums, Peter Gavin on bass and Aron Kyne on piano. All three are graduates from Leeds College of Music where they met and began playing together. The trio is a core rhythm section for many bands in Leeds and saw the perfect opportunity to explore trio based music with Live Music Now.

This young and vibrant band loves to make music fun for their audiences and although classified as a jazz trio, they aren’t afraid to dabble in many styles of music such as pop, funk, latin, country and rock and roll. Each member of the trio is extremely proficient at their chosen instruments and makes their living entirely from music.

Katie, Peter and Aron are thrilled to be a part of Live Music Now. The chance to give back and make a difference in peoples’ lives is something that the trio does not take lightly and through developing interactive programs involving audiences and sharing the music they love, they want to give back to the communities they perform in.

The trio also plays various function gigs. They can provide background jazz for parties, weddings, events and more. If you are interested in booking the trio, please get in touch. The group can also be augmented to quartet, quintet and full on dance - party band by request.
